Staff Wellness
HAESL understands that happy staff are the most productive and a healthy body and mind are important. We provide many opportunities for physical activity as well as community engagement and emotional awareness programmes. Employees participated in a number of different programmes that developed their soft skills as well as strengthening their physical being. We organize various health talks from time to time encouraging a healthier life style.
Occupational Health And Safety
HAESL recognizes safety as one of the highest consideration at all times for all our staff, contractors and visitors. We define safety as the state where risks are managed to an acceptable level, and put safety as the first priority in all our activities.
HAESL has been awarded the Certificate of Registration on Occupational Health and Safety Management System - OHSAS 18001: 2007. The certification is in recognition of the performance and maturity of HAESL's occupational health & safety system.
Staff Training
As an aero engine overhaul and component repair company, our employees are required to maintain a high level of competence with the correct skills and appropriate knowledge of a number of aspects including repair techniques, aviation regulation and customer requirements. Different kinds of training are organized throughout the year to maintain staff competency.
Health and safety takes the highest priority in HAESL’s daily operations. We thus develop comprehensive health and safety training for new and current staff to reinforce awareness and foster a positive attitude on health and safety.
I Care I Report + I Resolve
In 2010, HAESL launched the I Care I Report (ICIR) proactive reporting programme. The programme was enhanced to I Care I Report + I Resolve, encouraging all of staff to report potential health and safety issues and actively participate by implementing proactive safety measures to minimize possible hazards.
We believe that the I Care I Report mechanism will continuously encourage everybody to proactively engage in safety related issues and take collective responsibility for our health and safety.
