Responsibilities

  • Financial Stewardship & Business Performance
    • Own end‑to‑end financial stewardship for HAESL, ensuring strong governance and sustainable long‑term profitability
    • Lead business performance management including budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis
    • Deliver profitability analysis to support strategic decision‑making and operational trade‑offs
    • Drive PBIT delivery while balancing short‑term performance with long‑term value creation
  • Reporting, Dashboards & Systems
    • Strengthen finance dashboards and KPIs to enhance reporting quality and business insights
    • Lead enhancement of Finance dashboards and KPIs through SAP S/4 HANA implementation
    • Ensure robust, timely, and insightful management reporting to support business performance
  • Operational Excellence & Controls
    • Ensure accurate and timely month‑end and year‑end financial close
    • Maintain strong internal controls and deliver positive audit outcomes
    • Ensure full compliance with regulatory, tax, and statutory requirements
    • Lead risk management and uphold strong financial governance standards
  • Cost Management & Profitability
    • Drive cost control, margin management, and productivity improvements across the business
    • Lead OPEX and CAPEX Board submissions and approvals
    • Work with cross‑functional teams to embed sustainable workstreams to support long‑term profitability
  • Cash Flow & Working Capital
    • Manage cash flow, working capital, and AR/AP effectiveness
    • Lead initiatives to optimize working capital and finance operating efficiency
  • Stakeholder & Business Partnership
    • Act as a strong finance business partner to HAECO, Rolls‑Royce, and broader business teams
    • Build effective working relationships with audit, insurance providers, banks, and regulators
    • Support senior leadership with financial insights, governance, and decision support
  • Training and Development
    • Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing finance team, fostering talent development, engagement, collaboration, and accountability.

Requirements

  1. Job Requirements & Competencies

  1. Qualification & Experience 
  • Degree in Finance
  • Professional accounting qualification
  • 15 years of working experience
  • Broad accounting and manufacturing / operational technical knowledge
  • Senior finance leadership experience with strong business partnering and governance capability
  • Proven ERP experience (SAP S/4 HANA preferred)
  • Deep expertise in financial planning, performance management, and profitability optimization
  • Strong knowledge of controls, risk, audit, and compliance (HK GAAP preferred)
  • Track record of leading teams through change and continuous improvement
